Tehuti Networks recognizes two distinct needs
in the 10 Gigabit Ethernet market today. One desire
is for purely transparent devices which require
no software modification to run network applications.
The other market need is driven by heavily by
performance which is looking for the highest performing
network solution. Tehuti Networks has designed
a single device which delivers an optimal solution
for both of these market needs. Using Host Hardware
Offload technology, Tehuti Networks has developed
a controller which can run in simple mode
which requires no software modifications to run
network applications while achieving significant
Ethernet speeds. Additionally, by enabling TCP
Chimney or Linux TOE, Host Hardware offload technology
will drive the controller in offload mode,
extending the performance capability to full 10
Gbps line rate on both ports. Host Hardware Offload
technology allows Tehuti Networks single device
to meet the market needs today.
