Tehuti Networks Names Arie Brish President and CEO
AUSTIN , Texas – October 11, 2004 – Tehuti Networks today announced that Arie Brish has been appointed president and chief executive officer.
In his new role, Mr. Brish will leverage his 25-plus years of experience in the high-technology industry to lead Tehuti Networks in launching its Network Traffic Accelerator chips and expanding into new regional markets.
Tehuti Networks, a fabless semiconductor company with almost $3 million in seed funding, has developed the world's first TCP/IP acceleration technology designed for servers and motherboards that network through 1- and 10-gigabit Ethernet.
Its Network Traffic Accelerator chips integrate seamlessly into any server environment or network appliance, significantly boosting network performance with very minimal impact on cost or footprint.
Arie Brish is a senior executive and entrepreneur with broad experience leading technology organizations. His business acumen includes profit and loss operations management, fund raising, marketing, and research and development in a wide variety of technologies and domains. He has helped found several technology start-up organizations, including National Semiconductor Israel, Motorola Semiconductor Israel, Motorola's DSP Core Technology Center , Conformative Systems, VENewNet and cxo360. While at Motorola, Mr. Brish drove microcontroller sales up 146 percent in four years, while advancing market share from the number four to the number one position. As co-founder of Conformative Systems, Mr. Brish was a key contributor to its securing $6.5 million in series A funding.
