Tehuti Networks Participates in Backplane Ethernet Demo with The Ethernet Alliance® at DesignCon 2008

Mountain View, CA - January 28, 2008 - Tehuti Networks, a semiconductor company providing 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) single-chip, low-power network controllers, today announced its participation at DesignCon 2008. Tehuti Networks will participate in a Backplane Ethernet demonstration in The Ethernet Alliance booth #961, February 5-6 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, California.

Ethernet Alliance member companies AMCC, Molex, Tyco Electronics and Vitesse will demonstrate 10GbE serial backplane Ethernet technology featuring state-of-the-art reference backplanes, and error-free 10GbE data traffic driven by 10GBASE-KR PHY devices. The first demonstration will showcase a 10GbE backplane with streaming video being transferred simultaneously between two servers equipped with Tehuti Networks' Network Interface Cards (NICs). The second demonstration will feature signal quality shown through a bit error ratio (BER) monitor.

Tehuti Networks' low-power 10GbE solutions are targeted for volume applications that are sensitive to power and cost budgets. Through its OptiStrataTM architecture, Tehuti Networks offers an optimal combination of features implemented in hardware and firmware to offer high performance with no impact to the operating system, power, real estate and cost budgets.
