Tehuti Networks Selects AActive Engineering as Southern California Sales Representative

AUSTIN, TX – January 24, 2006 – Tehuti Networks, a provider of low power, high performance 10 Gigabit Ethernet TCP/IP accelerator chips, has signed an agreement with AActive Engineering to market and sell Tehuti Networks’ 10 Gigabit Ethernet semiconductor solutions in southern California. AActive Engineering will also provide technical support for Tehuti Networks’ customers.  Tehuti Networks’ solutions provide true 10 Gigabit Ethernet performance, but with no additional power or footprint requirements compared to a basic MAC.

Tehuti Networks offers the industry’s first PCI Express 10 Gigabit Ethernet products targeted for high-volume applications such as high-volume servers, appliances and Ethernet storage.  Tehuti Networks offers three to five times the performance of traditional 10 Gigabit Ethernet MACs via its OptiStrataTM architecture.  OptiStrata offers an optimal combination of features implemented in hardware and firmware to offer high performance with no impact to the operating system, power, real estate and cost budgets.
